JackLab Audio publishes Linux audio guides for musicians setting up a home recording system. Aaron Seminoff runs this independent editorial site.
Linux recording and audio tools
Our coverage includes audio setup, JACK and PipeWire routing, Linux recording applications, audio interfaces, and troubleshooting. Guides name the distribution and software assumptions behind their instructions so you can compare them with your own setup.
We work from official project documentation and identify the sources behind technical instructions. A documented procedure is not a claim that we tested your hardware. Our editorial standards explain sourcing and corrections.
